Depression

Depression is a constant feeling of sadness and low mood and at ET Counselling, I understand the struggles that come with this feeling such as the loss of motivation and desire to participate in events that you like. It takes courage for you to take that first step to seek for help. I am here to support and provide a safe and therapeutic space for you to speak openly about your concerns, fears and challenges.
By using different interventions, our work will be centred around setting goals and developing strategies and tools to overcome and rediscover joy in every aspect of your life, so that you can begin to function, and to live a healthy and a happier life.

Brief therapies
I believe that each person has the unique ability to overcome their challenges and live a happy life. That’s why my sessions are aimed at helping clients identify and leverage their strengths to achieve their goals. Trauma
Experiences of trauma can be stressful and difficult to cope. At ET Counselling, I understand how these experiences can affect individuals, and I am here to help by interweaving within my work a trauma-informed approach designed to support and promote healing from past traumas and developing healthy coping mechanisms.
Individuals are encouraged to share their experiences and feelings in a safe and therapeutic space without fear of judgment. The goal is to promote resilience, restore a sense of safety, and foster emotional recovery.

Loss, Grief and Berievement
As a Mental Heath Counsellor, I strive to provide a safe and compassionate space for exploring loss, grief, and bereavement. I understand that everyone's journey is unique and I work closely with each of my clients to offer personalised care.
Using models of grief such as the Kubler-Ross model, I will support you through the different phases of grief, allowing you to express your feelings in a safe and supportive environment. No matter where you are in your journey, we will work together to create a tailored treatment plan that works for you so that you can emerge from this experience stronger and able to function.
